JAKARTA, NNC - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) successfully won the Stevie Awards for the category of Human Resources (HR) or Human Capital Management (HCM) and the Annual Report in London, England.
"Human Resources (HR) or Human Capital Management (HCM) is an award to evaluate all human resource innovations in the use of the latest information technology," said PGN Secretary, Rachmat Hutama, Tuesday (10/23/2018).
The award is a series of hundreds of business awards given annually by the American Business Awards organization. Created in 2002, the award is aimed at recognizing and contributing world companies, especially in the Asia Pacific region.
On this side, he continued, PGN has made a lot of improvements and implemented an information technology-based work culture from each business line, to every division/work unit.
Rahmat explained, PGN has made many innovations and changes in terms of HR management. Various strategies have been implemented in stages ranging from the lowest, middle, to leadership levels.
All of these strategies, according to him, lead to or impact on service aspects, business expansion, to the company's financial performance. This is clearly illustrated in the data of customer growth, market expansion, and positive financial performance in several periods.
The quality of PGN’s HR has been recognized in several awards before, for example the award of The Best Competency Management and The Best of HC Index Effectiveness from Dunamis (Indonesia Organization Services in Human Capital Study).
