JCI Advances 0.5 Percent at the End of Session I

JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed up 29 points (+ 0.5 percent) to 5,888.1 at the end of session I on Friday (9/14/2018).

Throughout the session, the JCI moved in the range of 5,870 to 5,894. A total of 209 stocks strengthened, 127 weakened, and 114 others did not change prices.

Trading volume reached 733.98 billion shares, frequency was 27,059 times, and transaction value was IDR439.82 billion. Foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR10.23 billion in all markets.

A total of 10 sectoral indices rose led by the trade sector which rose 1.27 percent, followed by the infrastructure sector up 0.84 percent, and the basic industrial sector rose 0.6 percent.

IDX:PKPK shares rose the highest (top gainer) by 32.71 percent to IDR142 per share, followed by IDX:ABBA rose 24.79 percent to IDR151 per share, and IDX:MDIA rose 18.96 percent to IDR138 per share.

Meanwhile, the top losers included IDX:ARTA, which dropped 25 percent to IDR210 per share, followed by IDX:ASJT down 24.13 percent to IDR264 per share, and IDX:RELI weakening 18.12 percent to IDR262 per share.
