JAKARTA, NNC - Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) strengthened at the starting point of opening bell, Friday (9/14/2018) to the level of 5,870.9.
Moments after opening bell, the composite index strengthened 24 points (+ 0.41 percent) to 5,882.3.
A total of 151 stocks rose, 60 fell, and 124 others stagnated.
Trading volume reached 733.98 billion shares, frequency was 27,059 times, and transaction value was IDR439.82 billion. Foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR10.23 billion in all markets.
Almost all of the sector indexes rose, led by the trade sector which rose 0.84 percent, followed by the infrastructure sector which rose 0.84 percent. The mining sector weakened by 0.12 percent.
IDX:TRIO shares rose the highest (top gainer) by 24.76 percent to IDR262 per share, followed by IDX:MDIA up 20.68 percent to IDR140 per share, and IDX:ABBA rose 19.83 percent to IDR145 per share.
Meanwhile, the top losers, among others, were IDX:RELI which dropped 19.37 percent to IDR258 per share, followed by IDX:WAPO down 5.5 percent to IDR85 per share, and IDX:KDSI fell 5.14 percent to IDR830 per share.
