JCI Opens Stronger to Level 6,084

JAKARTA, NNC -- The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened up to the level of 6,084.8 Friday’s opening bell (08/10/2018). Moments after the official trade went on, the composite index continued its strengthening by 23.3 points.

As many as 162 stocks rose, 62 stocks fell and 105 others stagnated.

Stock trading volume reached 930.13 billion shares, transaction frequency 37,050 times, and the sale value reached IDR547.95 billion. Foreign investors recorded net sales of IDR19.5 billion in all markets.

Meanwhile, most of the sectoral indices strengthened led by the sector

consumer which rose 0.8 percent, followed by the infrastructure sector rose 0.62 percent, and the mining sector 0.41 percent.

IDX:FILM shares rose the most (top gainer) by 24.48 percent to IDR610 per share, followed by IDX:YPAS up 23.8 percent to IDR910 per share, and IDX:ETWA rose 10.58 percent to IDR94 per share.

Meanwhile, top losers include IDX:BIKA down 5.66 percent to IDR200 per share, followed by IDX:WAPO down 4.25 percent to IDR90 per share, and IDX:POLY down four percent to IDR240 per share.
