JCI Rises 0.2 Percent on Wednesday Trade Closing

JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) was up 11.59 points (+0.20 percent) to 5,893.35 at the end of trading hours on Wednesday (7/11/2018). A total of 185 shares rose in price, 200 stocks fell, and 119 other shares stagnated.

Throughout today, the IDX Composite was moving at the highest level of 5,897.95 and the lowest of 5,822.75. Stock trading volume reached 9.17 billion units with transaction frequency of 375,647 and transaction value about IDR7.3 trillion. Foreign investors made net buying of IDR431.5 billion.

The strengthening of JCI was in line with the positive indices of miscellaneous industry sector stocks which jumped by 3.45 percent, followed by mining sector which rose 1.53 percent and manufacturing sector which gained 0.62 percent.

Meanwhile, stocks that recorded the highest price increase (Top Gainers) included POLL's which went up 49.59 percent to IDR920 per share, RISE's which added 25 percent to IDR430 per share, and TCPI's which gained 24.73 percent to IDR454 per share.

Meanwhile, the Top Losers were among others CSIS' which fell 24.68 percent to IDR418 per share, BPFI's which dipped 24.09 percent to IDR520 per share, and SKYB's which lost 23.87 percent to IDR236 per share.
