JAKARTA, NNC - Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 46.3 points (-0.8 percent) to 5,791.7 in early trading on Wednesday (5/16/201). At 09:06 JATS, there were 125 stocks declining, and only 99 stocks were rising.
Trading volume stood at 1.1 billion shares, with transaction frequency of 47,139 times and a trade value of IDR758.52 billion. Foreign investors recorded a net selling of IDR57.5 billion in all markets.
Meanwhile, almost all sectoral indices of stocks fell except for the agribusiness sector which rose 0.4 percent. The deepest declining sectors were the consumer sector with 1.29 percent, followed by the infrastructure sector which was down 1.16 percent, and the miscellaneous industry sector down 1.09 percent.
MNC Skyvision (MSKY)'s shares posted the highest jump by 14.08 percent to IDR810 per share, followed by Batavia Prosperindo Finance (BPFI)'s rising 7.6 percent to IDR565 per share, and Express Transindo Utama (TAXI)'s up 7.4 percent IDR145 per share.
Cahayasakti Investindosukses (CSIS)'s fell the most by 24.3 percent to IDR1,590 per share, along with the stock that performed the inaugural listing, i.e., Medikaloka Hermina (HEAL)'s which fell 22.9 percent to IDR2,850.
