JAKARTA, NNC - PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara previously named Newmont Nusa Tenggara is going to release some of its shares to the public through the initial public offering or IPO. The representative of Amman's largest shareholder, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (IDX:MEDC), through its Counsel, Arifin Panigoro, stated that the IPO's wish was positive. "I do want to be quick, sure," said Arifin to reporters in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/13/2018).
Medco has an indirect ownership stake of 82.2 percent in Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara through PT Amman Mineral Internasional. In Amman Minerals Internasional, Medco owns a 50 percent shareholding and the rest are held by AP Investment.
However, Arifin was reluctant to explain amount of shares of Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara that will be released to the public. The founder of Medco just ensured that the IPO plan will be realized this year as well. "As for the details, [I am] afraid of being wrong. I do not dare [to elaborate], but it will," he said.
For information, Arifin Panigoro is one of the 31 taxpayers (WP) earning an award from the Directorate General of Taxes who is considered to contribute most to tax revenues annually, especially throughout 2017.
