JCI Opens Strengthening to 6,545, All Sectors Positive

JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) went higher to the level of 6,545 in stock trading opened Tuesday (2/13/2018). Strengthening continued until 09:05 am by 44.16 points (+0.6 percent). A total of 191 stocks rose in price, 41 stocks fell, and 84 stocks were unchanged.

Stock trading volume reached 1.82 billion units, with frequency amounting to 54.584 times and trade value reaching IDR787.4 billion. Foreign investors posted a net selling of IDR1.8 billion in all markets.

All sectoral indices moved in positive area. The financial sector recorded the highest gain by 0.95 percent, followed by the infrastructure sector which climbed 0.83 percent, and the property sector which was up 0.81 percent.

Hanson International (MYRX)'s stocks posted the biggest gain (Top Gainers) by 21 points to IDR189 per share, followed by Intikeramik Alamasri (IKAI)'s up 16 points to IDR270 per share, and Rimo International Lestari (RIMO)'s which rose five points to IDR200 per share.

Meanwhile, stocks in the Top Losers included Intan Baruprana Finance (IBFN) down 17 points to IDR93 per share, Rukun Raharja (RAJA) which fell 85 points to IDR595 per share, and Bank Ganesha (BGTG) which dipped 10 points to IDR171 per share.
