JAKARTA, NNC – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed almost stagnant, rising only 0.09 points to 6,386.43 at the end of trading hour of the first session on Friday (1/12/2018).
A total of 157 stocks rose, 150 stocks fell, and 132 others stagnated.
Throughout the session, JCI moved in the range of 6386.38 up to 6399.17
Trading volume reached 8.9 billion, with trading frequency 171,016 times, and transaction value of about IDR3.28 trillion. Foreign investors recorded net purchases of IDR181.4 billion in the regular market supported by the buying action on BMRI and ADRO.
Some of the sectoral stock indices were strengthening and some were weakening. The highest rising sector was mining 1.14 percent, and consumer 0.18 percent. The various industrial sectors fell the deepest 0.8 percent with the trade sector down 0.3 percent.
Meanwhile, Energi Mega Persada (ENRG) recorded the most active trading frequency of 12,516 times, followed by MNC Investama (BHIT) with 7,818 times, and Global Mediacom (BMTR) with 6,371 times of transactions frequencies.
