JCI Weakens 0.47 Percent as Three Sectors Stumble (special)

 
JAKARTA, NNCThe Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) has slumped 28.67 points or  0.47 percent to 6,006.83 on the trade closing on Thursday (12/07/2017). A total of 139 stocks obtained price increase today, while 186 stocks were on the downtrend, and 132 stocks were unchanged in terms of price.
 
Throughout today, the composite index moved in the range of 6,006.83 to 6,039.29 points. Stock trading volume was around 10.97 billion shares with transaction frequency of 319,972 times, and transaction value of IDR6.31 trillion. Foreign investors recorded net selling of IDR890.16 billion in all markets.
 
The stocks that contributed the most to foreign net sell were MNC Land (IDX:KPIG) with IDR257.8 billion, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (IDX:BBRI) with IDR186.6 billion, and Bank Mandiri (IDX:BMRI) with IDR139.1 billion.
 
Sector-wise, the agribusiness sector index dropped 1.44 percent, mining sector decreased 1.26 percent, while the financial sector dropped 1.16. Meanwhile, the basic industry sector rose 1.31 percent, property sector increased 0.34 percent, and manufacturing sector went up 0.07 percent.
 
The most actively traded stocks include Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food (IDX:AISA) for 14,130 times and price increase of 44 points to IDR530, Gadjah Tunggal (IDX:GJTL) for 11,730 times and price hike of 10 points to IDR720, and Bumi Resources (IDX:BUMI) for 8,441 times and price decrease of IDR248.
