JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Railink, the operator of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Train system, has released the train’s schedule, with the route from Sudirman Baru station to Soekarno-Hatta airport.
The company has prepared 10 trainsets for the route, with capacity of 33,000 passengers per day. The airport train system is equipped with various facilities in the station and during the trip.
One trainset consists of six passenger cars capable of carrying 272 passengers. The interior of the train is designed as in the plane, passengers can adjust the slope of the chair and armrest. The cars are also equipped with air conditioning (full AC), mobile chargers (charging port), and separate toilets for men and women.
In addition, in each train also features a special baggage to place passenger luggage as well as four LED TV screen for entertainment and also provide train position information.
Meanwhile, the stations are is equipped with facilities such as vending machine, tapping gate, escalator, ATM gallery, waiting lounge, commercial area, meeting room, toilet and mosque. The station at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is even equipped with connectivity to integrated building and APMS / skytrain.
"Soekarno-Hatta Airport train will serve passengers in five stations, namely: Manggarai Station, Sudirman Baru Station, Duri Station, Batu Ceper Station, and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station. However, at the beginning of the operation we will serve passengers in two stations in advance that is the new Sudirman Station and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station. While the travel time was relatively fast, only 55 minutes by route Manggarai Station - Sudirman Baru Station - Duri Station - Batu Ceper Station - and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station.
