JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed up 43.41 points (+ 0.74 percent) to 5,926.20 at the end of trading hours on Thursday (10/12/2017). A total of 172 stocks rose, 158 stocks fell, and 119 others remained.
Throughout the day, JCI moved at the range of 5,883.496 and 5,932.007.
Trading volume is about 14 billion shares with total transaction frequency of 324,661 times. Transaction value reached IDR9.1 trillion. Foreign investors recorded net buy of IDR443 billion in the regular market.
The net selling value of the largest foreign investors came from Bank Mandiri (BMRI) shares worth IDR239.78 billion, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) IDR129.64 billion, Jasa Marga (JSMR) IDR82.39 billion, Adaro Energy (ADRO) IDR39.87 billion, and State Savings Bank (BBTN) IDR37.93 billion.
Most of the stocks of sectoral index rose except the consumer goods and construction sector. Sectors that recorded the biggest gain were various industries by 2.12 percent, followed by infrastructure sector which rose 1.46 percent and financial sector rose 1.27 percent.
Shares of Sri Rejeki Isman (SRIL) printed the highest number of transaction frequency with 21,657 times and became the most active stock in trading this Thursday. The next most active shares are Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS) with 18,459 times, and Telekomunikasi Indonesia 11,098 times.
